After nearly ten years of styling and two as the Artistic Director at the Maria Heckscher Salon in Atlanta Georgia, Dandelion owner Christie Bazemore was ready to plant her own creative roots in Nashville..."I had the amazing experience of working and traveling with the best in Atlanta...a very special group of people that not only shaped my career, but essentially became my family. When I knew I was ready to embrace my own project, Nashville really spoke to me. There are so many exciting things happening here, yet the tradition of southern comfort and hospitality remains strong. I wanted to make my own version of just that - a salon that reflects the intimacy of home, and yet, opens the imagination to new possibilities. I love to work with scissors, creating expressive shapes. Anything from technical cutting for more sculpted looks, to aggressive texture for soft, shaggy, romantic styles. Rich, multi dimensional color, as well as natural blondes and brunettes are among my favorites. BOOK APPOINTMENT
Caroline Kraft joined Dandelion Salon in December 2012. She relocated from Chicago where she spent time working as a full-time aesthetician and makeup artist before rededicating herself to honing her craft here in Nashville. Her roots, however, are a little further south. Hailing from Atlanta, Ga., Caroline graduated from the Paul Mitchell Academy in 2008 and finished her apprenticeship at the Maria Heckscher Salon under Dandelion owner, Christie Bazemore. She is well versed with Framesi hair color and gains inspiration from nature and traveling. Caroline believes in a “less is more” approach when helping clients enhance their natural beauty. She loves working with color, blended dimensional highlights and color melting. She is also trained in modern versions of these services such as ombre and balayage. She creates beautiful cuts as well to enhance these techniques. Outside of the salon Caroline enjoys hiking, reading, and treasure hunting on outdoor adventures. BOOK APPOINTMENT
